What started as a minor event --- one set of wheels coming off of a boxcar in back of our house, turned into a full-fledged derailment a quarter of a mile later. We have heard through the grapevine that the "Railroad" may have been using non-standard wheels for that particular car and that the train may not have been "proportioned" correctly (with wrong number of empty cars between a certain number of full ones).
