PIONEER AUTO PARTS

One of the few places in town where it didn't matter if you sat down for business in your dirtiest clothes! Hey, here was a macho store for macho men (and car-loving ladies, I guess).

This is where Jerry Jones landed after his high school career. The 1958 yearbook says, 'Rony Bony's' ambition was: "To own a brewery for 'The Boys' and a parts house for my car."

Jerry was a great kid and never minded that his next door neighbors were a couple of bratty boys who gave Tucker Avenue a bad reputation (Wordydave and WordyMart).
