Paso Robles Union High School

I GRADUATED FROM PASO HIGH WITH THE CLASS OF
1928. There were thirty-seven of us in all, including Shandon. At that time our graduation exercises were held in the auditorium now known as the Flamson Middle School Auditorium. All the graduates, besides some faculty, board members and speakers, sat on the stage. Gifts and flowers for the graduates were also on the stage.

Well, we girls all sat there wondering who a beautiful bouquet of red roses was for --- here it was for me --- so with tears in my eyes I had to get up to accept it. I cried through the whole ceremony practically because I thought I was not going to be able to go on to school, but I did, so my tears were all for naught.

Our class has only had one class reunion: our 50th in 1978. A wonderful time was had reminiscing. Out of our class there were eleven of us still living here in 1978.
