* (14th)  In case you hadn't noticed, the old cow town is now the new grape town according to National Geographic.

* (14th)  Norma's Alley will soon be graced by an artistic arch. Stop in sometime and tell her, "It's about time!"

* (14th)  The Paso Robles Press is now printed in King City by Casey Printing. Congratulations for a job well done!

* (14th)  SLO County District 1 Supervisorial race offers a bit of fireworks between the two candidates and between commentators.

* (23rd)  It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Paso's great friend and 'historian',  Gary Smith, on February 7. His son Matt offered the following eulogy: "He is loved very much by his family and friends. He loved to share stories about his adventures over the years riding motorcycles around the US and down Baja. He loved Paso and talking about growing up there. Godspeed, Papa Gary."
