  Wordydave must be the only amateur or have more film that these other photo nuts. Maybe they were environmentalist wackoes who knew that extra film means extra silver in the processing fixer, which has to be handled as a hazardous waste stream at the lab.

  Hey, the sky was beautiful; why not blast away? Why not indeed, since all of you faithful readers would benefit.

  I was worried about the jet trails more than the $3000 camera systems. I've only had jet exhaust embellish one photo I've taken, near Four Corners, NM. But not here, not now, please. Flights to Atlanta were the main culprit, I think.

  Thankfully, these people were friendly, talkative and reassuring. The pro was going to celebrate his fourth anniversary in a few weeks. I don't remember seeing his wife with him, though.

 

 

Now we're getting to the clicking stage in the crowd. You'll find that the more expensive the camera, the quieter the shutter. And for digitals, you have to tell the camera to make noise. Pretty strange.
